More than a formal event, but a high-end cultural immersion
By blending ancient pre-Christian Ukrainian traditions with modern aesthetics, the evening created a "homey" and sincere environment for over 250 guests. The event showcased Nova Ukraine’s commitment to preserving heritage and honoring the dedicated community that drives its humanitarian mission.
The evening was rooted in deep cultural heritage, featuring members of the choir "Oberig" in traditional attire performing ancient Koliada carols. These performances brought the spirit of Ukrainian history to life, creating an emotional bridge between the past and the present.
Auction with a style.
The Gunia, a traditional Hutsul woolen coat from the Carpathian Mountains, stood as a centerpiece of the heritage display and a highly coveted item in the live auction. Its unique texture and craftsmanship served as a powerful symbol of Ukrainian resilience and mountain culture.
Interactive Cultural Immersion
To recreate the atmosphere of a true village gathering, guests visited the Vorozhka for traditional fortune-telling. This interactive experience added a touch of mystery and folk tradition that resonated deeply with attendees.

To Dance or Not to Dance?
Several musical performers delivered a high-energy, modern sound on stage, blending Ukrainian folk motifs with world-class professionalism.
In the shadow of a war that never seems to stop over the ocean, coming together for a night like Vechornytsi becomes an act of profound necessity. While the heart aches for what is happening back home, celebrating our culture and our people is how we maintain the strength to keep fighting. By honoring our volunteers and sharing our traditions, we remind ourselves that our community is a powerful force for positive change, proving that even in the darkest times, we can find the light in each other.
